The Simbong Butterfly Room
Home / Accommodation & Gastronomy / The Simbong Butterfly Room

A soft muslin trail of butterflies dresses the canopied four poster bed in The Simbong Butterfly Room, overlooking the Simbong Tea Division of Glenburn. Facing the eastern hills of Sikkim, one can wake up to a spectacular sunrise, and step into a private sit-out and garden. Delicate etchings of wisteria drape the wardrobe, intricately tiled roses adorn the fireplace, and birds and honey bees float across the furnishings, adding to the charm of this cosy little double room.

We offer a 10% discount on this room due to its smaller size in comparison to other suites. However there is a fire-place, a sit out with cane furniture, direct access to the main Living Room as well as the garden, and also a large bathroom with free-standing bathtub and walk-in rain shower. It's charm more than makes up for its size!

All the suites feature hand-embroidered bed linens, fresh flowers from the gardens, basket of fresh fruits, bathrooms with running hot & cold water with complimentary Darjeeling Green Tea toiletries, overhead fans in the rooms and hair dryers. The beds are fitted with electrical bed warmers. There are no TVs in the rooms to break the tranquility.
